Our Story
From Classroom to Innovation
VisionAssist began as a school project driven by a simple yet powerful question: How can we use technology to make a real difference in people's lives?
Our journey started when we learned about the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals in their daily navigation. Traditional assistive devices, while helpful, often fell short in providing real-time, comprehensive environmental awareness.
With guidance from our mentors and countless hours of research and development, we transformed our initial concept into VisionAssist - a sophisticated AI-powered smart glasses system that provides real-time object detection, navigation assistance, and voice feedback.
Today, we continue to refine and improve our technology, driven by the feedback from beta testers and the unwavering belief that everyone deserves the freedom to explore the world independently.
